President, Certified Arborist PD-1829, CTSP
Michael Dunn has been working in Forestry related industries for 14 years. After attending Shippensburg University for Geo/Environmental studies he secured a job with the U.S. Forest Service. In short order, he worked his way up to become a member of an elite wildland firefighting organization, the Mormon Lake Hotshots, based out of Flagstaff, Arizona. During the offseason, he would dedicate himself to becoming a climbing arborist. After several seasons of firefighting, Mike returned to the East coast and started working full time as a climbing arborist. Seeing a lack of environmentally focused tree care in southeastern Pennsylvania, Mike founded the Preservation Tree Company in 2009. Mike has been an ISA certified arborist since 2007. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain sports, CrossFit, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
